Now before you call animal cruelty on me, let me tell you that she crawled up and down my body and couch before she chose this very spot. She nosed beneath my computer and burrowed there. She really likes warm, dark spaces and so hiding underneath my computer seemed to provide her all her necessary creature comforts. So there she stays.

Now I am here to tell you that this hedgehog has been a better pet than we could have previously imagined. She has such a charming little personality. She is so sweet, not shy, very inquisitive and very playful. She sleeps a lot but lately has been showing off some of her energetic side. As we type now, she has decided to come aboard my laptop keyboard. She just zoomed in my screen all by herself… by slipping on the trackpad. And though admittedly, she has peed on my keyboard (more than once, right around letter W) she is a really great typing companion. She guards letters T and I like she’s the boss.

Friends, do yourselves a favor and track down a Hedgehog breeder. Ten points to Hufflepuff if you name them Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, or Slytherin.
